This project was realised in close collaboration with McLennan + Boyd Architects, who handled the interior zoning strategy for NovaTech’s satellite office. The furniture programme was co-designed with Industrial designer Aoife Byrne, whose previous work for European coworking hubs informed the modular, compact direction. We designed custom benching with built-in storage and integrated cable tracks manufactured by ModuFrame Systems. The acoustic meeting pods were developed together with EchoForm Acoustics, using recycled PET felt panels in deep moss green. The final solution improved usable seating capacity by 40% while maintaining ergonomic comfort, something the design team achieved by combining Byrne’s compact workstation layouts with McLennan + Boyd’s circulation modelling.
