The interior concept was developed by Studio Kjartansson, an Icelandic architecture office known for minimalism shaped by local landscapes. Furniture selection and layout planning were executed in collaboration with media-workspace specialist Ingrid Solheim, who focused on acoustics and ergonomic flow between editing suites and open-plan areas.
We introduced custom desks with integrated cable runs produced by Framline Modular, high-back acoustic sofas from PolarSoft Seating, and meeting tables made of thermo-treated ash to resist fluctuations in humidity. A colour palette inspired by volcanic stone and ocean hues ties the editorial and production areas together. Editorial staff participated in co-design workshops to refine storage and screen-mounting systems.
