The community wing was designed by Harrison & Vale Architects, who envisioned a warm, activity-driven environment with clear zoning for children, teachers and external community groups. Our role was to deliver a furniture package aligned with their inclusive design principles. We partnered with BrightNest Education Furniture to supply foldable multipurpose tables and vibrant child-friendly chairs. Upholstered soft-play seating was developed jointly with Studio Liora, known for their sensory-friendly design work. The entrance features built-in oak benches and storage cubbies crafted by local joiners Manchester Wood Collective. To maintain a calm acoustic environment, especially during weekend community events, we worked with QuietSky Acoustic Solutions to integrate ceiling baffles and wall absorbers disguised as playful geometric shapes.
